As with any other vibrant city, Cannes has nightlife. This beautiful city comes alive in the evening as do most popular metropolitan areas. With its diverse population, the city residents have come up with new and interesting ways to keep themselves entertained. On the down side, some revelers may find Cannes a bit too docile because most of the community tend to be people from the region and may not fancy the night scene that accompanies tourists. Jimmy’z has a terrace, a dance floor, and a bar. For live music and iano bars, the hotels Carlton and Martinez would be the places of choice. Morrison’s is an Irish pub that has good live music and the entire decor of this pub is authentic Irish decor. It attracts a young foreign crowd and it has a wide selection of beers and drinks on offer. Disco 7 is characterized by great atmosphere, good music and a drag show that it hosts every night. This club is by and large for gays and straights. Chunga is small and has regular pianists. It seats only 50 people who are ready to wine and dine. La Carre Blank has small tables surrounded by low seating. The decor consists of mirrors, pink walls, and fresh flowers. The city does have quite a vibrant nightlife with a little bit of everything to suit its diverse population.
